In this program we work together to create your diet.  Together we chose the foods you will eat for the week, the times when you will eat, the ratios of protein, carbohydrates, and fat to calories.  In this program you will learn how to manage your diet during vacations, parties, holidays, etc.  You learn how to work around any adversities in life and stay on track.  All foods are logged and any adjustments are made on weekly appointments.

The Answer is an eating plan that will:

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test

This test is performed during your first appointment to determine the number of calories your body burns in a 24 hour period.  Your metabolic rate will be used to calculate your high and low caloric zones.  This information is key to prescribing a balanced diet with the maximum number of calories you can eat and still lose weight.  In this zone your body will be in a positive state, not a negative one.  In this zone your body will be healthy, strong and satisfied. You will be able to enjoy food an work with your natural evolutionary instinct and not against it.

Ed adds another level of accountability and awareness by asking his clients to keep a food journal and to bring this in once a week in addition to their body fat measurements. weight and circumference measurements.  This part of the fitness program is critical and allows dialogue that supports results and change. Over the course of the program there continues to be many conversations which include eating out, ordering in, cooking, grocery shopping, and nutritional supplements. 

Timing
  
Timing is an extremely important part of The Answer diet system.   This timing is based on proven fundamental scientific truths.  There have been numerous studies in the past that prove that those who didn't eat or snack for three hours or longer had the highest body fat percentages - even if they weren't consuming more calories than they were burning.  Furthermore, the longer gap of time between eating times, the higher the body fat, especially if they exercised during those non-eating periods.  Even more surprising, the same studies show that those who ate less than their energy needs (usually the recipe for weight loss), weren't losing weight.  The reason is that when deprived of food, even for just a few hours, the body desperately clings to any calorie it gets.

There is no skipping meals in The Answer diet system.  We must put your body in the zone for you to work with your natural evolutionary instinct, not against it.

The Answer diet system is a prescribed program that feeds your body the exact foods, combinations, and amounts based on your individual goals.  Weight, circumference measurements, body fat analysis, bi-weekly photo, and any nutritional changes that need to be made will be assessed weekly.

The first appointment includes the (RMR) test & full evaluation, weight, circumference measurements, body fat analysis, & photograph.

The second appointment is a diet and nutrition planning session where we help you plan your menu, groceries, what and when you will eat based on your individual goals.  You will be asked to keep a food journal and bring it in weekly.

The following weekly appointments include diet evaluation, nutrition adjustments, weight measurements, and body fat analysis.

Second & Consecutive Months - $200

Includes weekly appointments for diet evaluation, nutrition adjustments, weight & circumference measurements, body fat analysis, & bi-weekly photos.

These sessions help maintain a level of accountability and awareness.  This part of the program is critical and allows dialogue that supports results and change.  Over the course of the program there continues to be many conversations which include eating out, ordering in, cooking, grocery shopping, & nutritional supplementation, etc.
